Clocks and Cannes / PGT

Just a short note:

I have no idea if that information is already on the internet, but I think it is worth pointing out that all matches in the champions and the intermediate flight are clocked. You get 2:30 minutes per game and 15 sec per move.

Not sure if the jackpot matches have mandatory clocks also; didn't play these yet.

I absolutely like the clocks in every match and every round. Sure there are different opinions about what the best time limits are, but it is a huge step forward for backgammon in general that PGT sets up new standards (read: outside of Denmark, because they use clocks for years in their events) for clocked matches.

Other tournaments have clocks also. But I never heard before that even the very first round plus all rounds in intermediate clocks has to be used.
