Standard settings for evaluation

Is there a standard for the settings used to evaluate a match when we discuss error rates for high profile matches. E.g., in another thread Bob Koca mentioned the respective error rates for Gus and himself from his finals match.

What are the settings that are used, and, at a more basic level, are we talking about the latest Snowie version (4.7.1) when we discuss these numbers?
