BG Ryder Cup

Wouldn't it be fun if it was possible to gather the best players from both sides of the pond for a Ryder Cup of backgammon.

I imagine a format of 10 players each team. 10 singles to 25 and 5 consultation doubles to 17.

All matches recorded and shared with the BG community.

If I was to pick the European squad I'd go for: Sander Lylloff, Francois Tardieu, Morten Holm, Lars Trabolt, Steen Grønbech, Peter Jes Thomsen, Serge Rived, Karsten Nielsen, Dirk Schiemann, Jon Kristian Royset

I'd back this team against any team in the world.

Who do you think would win a Ryder Cup of backgammon? What would be your preferred line up?
