Snowie Problem -- Anyone Know Answer?

A friend sent me this e-mail. I've had the same problem.

Bill,

I was entering one of my matches and came across and illegal move made by my opponent, which I accepted, I tried to enter it into Snowie, using the illegal move button, and it keeps coming up with an error "Access violation at address 006C52DO in module Snowie-4ex. Read OP address 0000003A".

I have tried everything and can't seem to get past this. I don't remember ever facing this problem before. Any suggestions?
