Suppose that you have two players Mr A and Mr B. All you know about them is that they both played in 3 recent backgammon events. One was a 128 player field and the other two were 64 player fields. Mr A won the 128 player field event and was out of the money in the other 2. Mr B won both of the 64 player field events and was out of the money in the 128 player event. If you have to go on only that information who do you say is the stronger player?

Now suppose you have Mr C and Mr D who both entered two 64 player field events. C won one and was out of the money in the other. D placed 2nd in both. If you have to go on only that information who do you say is the stronger player?
