GNU 2/2 ply vs. 3/3 ply

This one I will extend a bit, but there's some 2.8 JSDs of significance, so I don't expect anything to change. 3/3ply won 0.01431 ppg, or 1.431 points per 100 over 2/2ply.
I think it's safe to draw a few conclusions at this point, Daniel's comment on the opening rolls notwithstanding:
1) 3-ply checker play is, in general, a little better than 2-ply checker play.
2) 2-ply cube is, in general, a little better than 3-ply cube.
3) 3/3 ply is, in general, a little better than 2/2 ply.
