Walter Trice about Stick ...

If I can quote here Walter Trice from his new article in his regular column on Gammon Village, where he was making some introduction about 2007 Charlotte Finals and said:

"I recorded the last two matches played by Paul Weaver, who won the tournament. In the finals he played an 11 point match against Stick Rice. Rice is a relatively unknown young player whom we may be hearing more of in the future. Based on his comments in online backgammon forums and on his play in a few online matches I believe that he has the potential to become one of the best."
