OTB and after some thought I made the bar pt here as containing White for a turn or two seems really critical and if I make the 5 pt, he can roll a winning 44 or 64. Normally this type is decision is a next..you make the 5 pt..normally but not always vs a lone checker.
GNU 2 ply narrowly favors making the 5 pt, while all other GNU plies make the bar. Snowie 3 ply hates the bar and has purchased a 2nd class ticket on the BK Express for me.
