When I've been playing against default 3-ply GNU lately (with no tutor mode), my statitistics usually end up as follows:
Darin Chequer Play Statistics: Total moves 101 Unforced moves 82 Unmarked moves 0 Moves marked good 91 Moves marked doubtful 4 Moves marked bad 4 Moves marked very bad 2 Error rate (total) -1.403 (-21.194%) Error rate (per move) -17.1 ( -0.258%) Chequerplay rating Intermediate
Darin Cube Statistics: Total cube decisions 28 Close or actual cube decisions 14 Doubles 3 Takes 1 Passes 2 Missed doubles (below CP) 3 (-0.336 ( -2.099%)) Missed doubles (above CP) 2 (-0.220 ( -1.396%)) Wrong doubles (below DP) 0 Wrong doubles (above TG) 0 Wrong takes 0 Wrong passes 1 (-0.079 ( -1.201%)) Error rate (total) -0.635 ( -4.696%) Error rate (per cube decision) -45.4 ( -0.335%) Cube decision rating Awful!
I'm maybe a 15% winner against 3-ply, 25% against 1-ply. I think I could raise these numbers with better cube play.
Checker play I'm still a little off, but I'm learning proper checker play faster and easier than proper cube play.
