Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12167 167 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 13/11 13/8. I realize you're behind in the match and two down at this score may win the rollout war but I'm not a big fan of two down with an opening 5-2. The rollouts for money play show it only worse by .010 or roundabouts (typically a bit more) but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I only play it much closer to pure gammon go scores.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12167 160 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 13/11 6/5. Standard, 4s are somewhat duped and you have a lot of wood in the zone, no need to make any sort of split so you can fire away.

Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12164 155 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 13/8 6/5. The ace is obvious, the 5 is not so clear. The two candidates are 13/8 which is more flexible at the cost of some shots to 11/6 which is completely safe and still a reasonable distribution with no overstacking. I prefer the flexibility of my play at the cost of 8 immediate fly shots, 6-4, 4-3, 5-2, 6-1. 6-1 was good for you anyway. I'm sure the plays are close and maybe at this score I should play more conservative but not my style.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12158 155 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 24/18 21/18. There is no question here that my bar point is worth more than your own 5 pt. There are very few numbers that make that advanced anchor for you and many more that make your 5 pt. You are also in immedaite need of making some sort of anchor or you may not get a chance to. I might attack or make the bar myself. Lastly, you're up in the race, you should start to squirm your back men out if you can.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12158 146 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 24/21 8/4. This is play I see many typical players get wrong by playing the natural looking 11/4. It cleans up the blot and slots the next point in line, all fine & dandy. What it doesn't do is address the position. The only option for the 4 is 8/4, no question about that. Any other 4 comes under the gun unnecessarily or leaves too many blots. After that the 3 played 24/21 is quite natural. I split while I have the stronger board and duplicate 4s to hit either of my blots and leave myself very flexible. 11/4 is too stale and if Blue makes a point next turn, really any point, I'll be sorry I didn't split when I had the perfect opportunity to do so.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12151 146 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 18/14* 6/4*(2). So much for duplication.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12169 138 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves bar/20(2) 13/3. En garde! You aren't the only joker tossin' chumps in this match.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12149 138 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 18/16 14/13. Less shots, try to scurry around the board.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12149 135 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 8/2 6/4. There's no reason to move my checker on the 24 pt. yet. He's covering your inner board and is in no danger yet.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12141 135 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 13/7 8/7
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12141 128 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 8/7(2) 7/6 3/2. I don't like not making my points in order but it's better than the other options. You don't always get that blot to safety and a 4 pt. board is a 4 pt. board no matter how you slice it.
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12137 128 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Readers move 16/11
Match to 25, White leads 18 to 12137 123 Board image courtesy of GO-Figure Stick moves 7/1. I briefly consider making the ace but it doesn't really 'save a six'. Most rolls next turn I bring two down from my midpoint anyway so I might as well keep my structure as best I can.
