Politics in Backgammon

I was particularly disappointed that Bill Davis chose to include a political comment in the 'Amalgamation' column in the September 2008 Chicago Point newsletter.

The fact that Bob Ciaffone, "delegate at the Democrat Convention and professional gambler" stated that "you can bet the house that Barack Obama will be the next President" only indicates to me that Ciaffone is one piss poor gambler who may well soon be homeless.

I cannot fathom those who support the Socialist/Marxist Obama. If one does not wish to support the basic democratic and capitalistic tenets of America, there are a few remaining countries you may wish to visit -- Cuba, Venezuela, and a myriad of African countries come immediately to mind.

Just because you cannot, or will not, be responsible for yourself and your own is no reason to anticipate that your productive fellow citizens should support you cradle to grave.
