GNU Question (static eval.per sec.)

Under "Analyse" there is an Evaluation Speed tab. Would running this give me a good idea on the speed of my computer ? If so, what speed has other ppl recorded (static evaluations per sec.) ? I have mine up to 20,000 ... Steve
