computer help again

I'm putting together an order for a computer that I intend to dedicate to rollouts and similar functions. It has a monsterous price tag already. I'm down to one decision. I can upgrade from 3.0 GHz to 3.2 GHz for an extra $500.00. That doesn't seem worth it to me given how much it is going to cost already. My understanding of this is that it would decrease the speed of a rollout by a factor of (3.0 / 3.2) or approximately 7%. Is this understanding correct? Or is there a better way to look at this?
