proto-backgame double (GNU is confused)

Match to 7, White leads 1 to 0
White on roll. Cube Action?

It is fun to find a position where GNU says "no double" at 2-ply and 4-ply but "big pass" at 3-ply. I think it is "take" because the way to the end is very long. What about double?
