Thanks for posting this. No real surprise to me but I'm still delighted to see it.

One thing I forgot to add in my other posting is that in Vegas I met a lot of foreign players I'd never met and Saturday night I stayed up & spoke with Falafel & Katja about this, that, and the other. Katja had played MCG in the tournament and while discussing the tournament Katja said "I will never come to another tournament that isn't clocked." I hadn't even addressed this issue, it was out of the blue! I asked her if I could quote her because of the current clock struggle we have. Falafel also agreed that not having clocks in the biggest single tourney in the US was a joke.

On a side note, a strong, young, girl player at a major backgammon tournament, fancy that.
