I chose not to redouble Gnu in this position even though it is 28 shots at two blots. I KNEW what the bot would do, so I waited because there is nothing to gain from doubling a bot in such a situation, (almost).
However, next weekend in the Super 32 or the ABT event, maybe in the money round or something... [like I might win a first round match after losing 6 straight first round ABT matches]... I might not give a random HUMAN opponent the same respect.
Given the context of this post, most players will correctly choose to take this redouble, but OTB in your heart of hearts in the money round of potentially your first ABT cash, or hoping to reach the top 3 in ABT points and recieve a trophy... How many BGOers would take this baby?
