The Michael Edge/Al Faller Positions and Sequence

It starts here. I may have Michael's spares wrong but otherwise the position is correct as related to all of us. The story/sequence is correct as related by Michael, and others, to anyone who would listen.

After Al playing 7/1*, 24/22, Michael fans. Al rolls 6-1 and chooses 7/1, 24/23. Leaving the following position.

Now Al rolls 6-x and exits from the 22 point, leaving the spares on 23 and 24. He keeps advancing the thirteenth checker, despite a deuce along the way, until the checker is on his own ace point. (I don't remember the exact timing of picking up the spares but we'll assume he got one along the way.) So, now we get to this position.

Now Al rolls 6-2 making the forced play -- leaving the fifteenth checker on the 23 point. He keeps advancing the fourteenth checker, despite an ace along the way, until the checker is on his own ace point. We'll assume he got the other spare checker on this excursion. So, now we get to this position.

And, you guessed it, Al now rolls a 6-1. Gammon, game, set, match. Michael Edge ponders suicide.
