Take Me Out and Shoot Me

Perhaps the most frustrating thing about backgammon, at times, is the ability to lose a match, a tournament, money, etc. to the most utterly insane and incapable players.
Now, you'll all say we're all lucky on occasion -- and that is true. But the luck of the experienced, capable player -- the pure luck -- almost exclusively never follows absolutely insane blunders putting one in the position for such luck.
The source of frustration for my latest rant?
