A lot depends upon how badly you want the business, and whether these are friends you will enjoy working with or if it is just business. For example, a hypothetical prospective teacher that was in the market for say, to pick something at random - a new car, might be looking for volume.

$100 / hour is not at all unreasonable for a player of your caliber IF (big if) you can actually teach well. In sports, the best players are not necessarily the best coaches.

However, you may also not find a large number of students willing to pay that. Certainly $50/hr should be about a minimum rate for a proven WC player in a pure business arrangement.
