The first game of the McFinal 2009 between Lars Trabolt and Mochy reached the following now-or-later position.

Match to 25, Tied at 0-0
Blue to play 3-4

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned my surprise that GNU apparently dinged Lars Trabolt ("Alert! Doubtful move") for playing 5/2 5/1 instead of 14/11 14/10. I did a 2-ply rollout of 1296 games on gnubg, which ended up vindicating Lars Trabolt, +0.277 for 14/11 14/10 and +0.306 for 5/2 5/1. Sanity is restored.
