My wife and I go up every year and then spend a few days somewhere in the Rockies. This year we went up to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park -- only 1.5 hours from the tournament site. This time of the year the fall colors are stunning and the elk are everywhere (mating season). They're all over the town and in larger herds all over the park. The one elk photo here was taken right outside our motel room on one of the golf courses right in the middle of town -- the course fences the greens to protect the putting surfaces. I assume they don't golf at all in September because of the elk -- lololol.
