Golden or Bar Point?

Effective DMP, so just try to win the game (which must be played to the end). I would likely make the 5-point OtB here.
For one thing, it's in general a better point. That's my baseline.
White is stripped. Can s/he play 4's easier or 6's easier after the play? If I make the 5-point then 4-1 leaves a direct shot, 4-2 and 4-4 give up the 6-point. (6-4 runs -- good for White. 4-5 and 4-3 leave a blot on the midpoint.)
If I make the barpoint, 6-2 leaves a direct plus an indirect; 6-4 still runs; 6-6 is safe but terrible for timing; all other sixes leave a blot on the midpoint.
Doesn't appear like much of a swing either way.
A plus for making the barpoint is the better checker distribution for completing the full prime (at the cost of one extra flyshot).
Other than QF (who never seems to want to help me when I'm playing for real) I think the long term value of the best four homeboard points outweighs the better flexibility from making the barpoint.
5(2).
