But that begs the question: is it the mixing of the dice that fixes the 'problem' or selecting from the 4 dice after they are mixed? If you call for the dice change after your win, you are usually doing the dice change the loser wanted, anyway.

One other fun Malcolmism (who religiously changes the dice after every lost game) is that he prefers to use two dice of the same color when playing with a clock so there is no argument about who gets which die for the opening roll.
