Popularizing Backgammon = TV

In Response To: Popularizing Backgammon = TV (Chiva Tafazzoli)

A few months before Howard Ring passed away, he came to me to co-produce a video of a closed, special tournament that we hoped to sell to cable TV to get things started. Howard pledged to spend at least $100,000 to get things started, and he said if things went well and had promise, he'd be willing to put up another couple of hundred thousand. He knew he would never recoup the money, but we did have plans to form a professional circuit and have repeated events on cable. Then Howard died, and with it, the idea.

Anyone out there with enough money willing to step up? I'll be happy to share more details of what we were planning.
