I would suspect the WSOB organizers, or any tournament directors, would welcome serious questions or concerns regarding their tournaments. Obviously, it is their decisions to consequently act, or not, to address those questions and/or concerns; however, it is difficult to do so without prior knowledge.
Do I think someone planning on playing in the London WSOB would be banned, given a bad draw, or otherwise discriminated against or mistreated for raising legitimate questions or concerns prior to the tourney? Not at all.
I've seen any number of occasions where players in the States have raised questions regarding format, eligibility, match lengths, clock policy, recording policy, etc. without retribution. And, without exception, directors have listened and responded -- sometimes acting, sometimes not; sometimes amending stated policy for their next tourney. I've never seen anyone punished in any way for raising a point.
I think it responsible to do so. I think it responsible for the director to respond. Any need for anonymity in doing so puzzles me.
If you don't like the way a tournament is organized or the answers to your questions, you don't have to play. Go to another tournament. Put the time, money, and effort into running your own tournament if you wish. To anonymously critique and/or accuse is just not right.
