In Response To: A Proposal to Start the US Backgammon Federation (Phil Simborg)

As an outsider who will have no stake in an eventual US Backgammon Federation, I can only say that I applaude your initiative. If I were an American, I'd only be applauding it even more!

For this baby to get airborne somebody will have to take the initiative. And I don't think anyone is more fit for this task than you.

So just go ahead and start it up. I'm sure you'll be able to get a lot of American players to join your Federation. IMO this is the only way to go. Otherwise you'll just end up in a lot of discussions and no actions.
