A natural question to ask about the new MET that David and Neil are preparing is, will it change the verdicts of any interesting positions? Here is a candidate test position, from the 1979 Monte Carlo World Championship. Rolling it out using MEC26, I find that the decision is a close one. It will be interesting to see if the new MET makes any difference here.
The score is: Villa 13, Westheimer 21 (match to 25 points)
Westheimer to play 13
Villa 118
Westheimer 64 Position ID: s90BABxntx0AAA Match ID: UYksA9AAqAAA
