Let's wait and see what a 2-ply rollout comes up with. I'm rolling out 7 plays 2-ply. The plays I'm rolling out are:

13/10 8/7
8/7 8/5
13/9
23/20* 8/7
23/20* 22/21
23/20* 9/8
23/20* 23/22

The position is quite volatile. Many trials will be needed to get Gnubg's 2-ply best play.

After ~180 trials, it's pretty clear (JSD over 2.0) that the worst of these plays are 23/20* 23/22 and 8/7 8/5. All the others are still in the running.
