XG background analysis question

I've started playing around with XG, and I must say that I'm impressed with the features... the UI is taking some getting used to, but that's just because I'm comfortable with GNU.
One feature I like a lot is the fact that I can play a match, and it works on the analysis of the match in the background, which seems like an outstanding use of CPU time.
As I'm playing the bot, it has to think on its turn as well... I presume that this thinking will take complete precedence over the background thinking of the analysis of what's already taken place... can somebody confirm this?
Also, and this has been mentioned before... this bad boy NEEDS parallel rollouts bad.
So far so good... the software is very robust and stable, and is CLEARLY faster than GNU by a wide margin, meaning I can jack up the settings on some things.
