"A final advantage is that if I had a momentary brain freeze and made a bone-headed play, and woke up to reality the instant I punched the clock, I can partially redeem myself by dinging my own bone-headedness after the game."
Is this contest supposed to be a test of backgammon skill? If so how is not punishing boneheaded plays an advantage?
