What are rebuys?

At http://www.chicagopoint.com/results.html I saw for example:

ABT - LAS VEGAS BACKGAMMON OPEN

CHAMPIONSHIP (74+20 rebuys)

What is rebuy? I guess it it when loser can pay entry fee one more time and continue with main tournament but if it is correct, does this rebuy entry fee same as initial one or it is smaller and how many rounds you can make rebuys? Is there limit on rebuys or any player who like to pay can do that according torunament rules?
