Tim For a live-cube rollout, it doesn't seem to make sense to report cubeless numbers—they're more confusing than anything else. Also it would be good to give some kind of information about cube efficiency.

But what to report? Winning chance do not make sense cubeful. For instance in that case (4/2 3/2) you win %30 cubeless. Now cube cubeful you win let's say out of 100 game you win (i am just making up numbers)

  • 10 games with cube at 1
  • 14 games you cash 1 point
  • 19 games you win 2 points
  • 15 games you lose 2 points
  • 42 games you lose 1 point
That make up about 36% equivalent win (propably, again it's just an example)

How do you display that in term of winning chances?

and in this case cube can only be turn once. Now if gammon are possible it's even a bigger mess.

The only way would be to give the detail for each Cube value as Lose BG, Lose G, Lose single, Doubled out, Cash, win single, win G, Win BG. That is a LOT of data to process (for the user).

I think the equity is MUCH easier to handle. We just need to keep in mind winning chances are cubeless.
