I suggest somebody should consult with Kit to see how his current voting system works, perhaps it could be adapted with little difficulty.

I'm sure I could cobble together some php script to do the job. But I don't want to. Stick had the idea right a while back when he was doing this. You're going to learn more out of the experience once you become willing to post your opinions, however blunderous they might be. You can read other people's ideas all you want, but you need to become an active participant... articulate your ideas. The feedback loop will become shorter. In some New Years resolution threads a long time ago, I said I was going to be more active in that regard. I truly believe it's helped my game... I know I'm still reluctant to talk about positions I feel I have no clue about, but I'm getting better at it.

To the extent that I have a limited amount of time to spend thinking about backgammon, I want to maximize the learning experience.

So... if we do this, I only want to take votes from people who are willing to put themselves out there and post their opinions.
