Priority level for XG and GNUBG

If I have GNUBG and XG running at the same time, and I use the processes tab in the Windows Task Manager to set their CPU priority to be the same, then GNUBG takes all of the processing time. In effect, XG is too nice. I really want these to run in parallel, taking the same amount of processor time. What (if anything) can I do?
