Pat, I like these guidelines a lot and will incorporate them into a guide. I would also add:

spectators may not discuss moves or checker decisions with players until after the match is over; spectators may not volunteer their opinion about what a roll or move was unless both players ask for said opinion or unless asked by the tournament director; spectators may not stand near the board talking or eating; spectators may not record the match or take pictures of positions without the permission of both players in advance; spectators may not correct the score, however, if they see a wrong score, or any rule infractions or irregularities, they should notify the tournament director; spectators may not clap or cheer until the match is over; spectators should not, immediately when the match is over, tell the loser about his big mistakes that cost him the match.
