There's been quite a lot of discussion on this forum about the bots' ability to play extreme backgames like Snake. The consensus seems to be that none of the bots has a clue. Using a bot to teach yourself how to play Snake may make you a worse player than you were when you started!

About a month ago, Frank Berger said he would try training a neural net how to play Snake from scratch. Frank, have you done that yet? Anything interesting to report?
