There's nothing wrong with having the anchor. Problem is that the resulting position is so inflexible that there is a very large chance that we'll be forced to give up the anchor and run next turn anyway. So lets create a more flexible position now while white is on the bar. Maybe we can get a better anchor, or escape, or we'll be forced to hit loose and can make the 20 point if we get hit back.
