Precision Cocked Dice

Talking about cocked dice has anyone ever seen one dice come to rest on top of the other? The first week that I learned how to play when I was five years old or so I was watching my dad play a friend who had a roll like that. The freind asked what to do and my dad incorrectly said to lift it to see the other number and to play it. I remember thinking that it was kind of cool but not super amazing. But I've never seen it happen since. It doesn't seem like it should be that rare. Also, I don't know why I remember the incident so well.
