Clock Policies of Upcoming Events

As I said sometime last year, starting in 2010 a major factor in whether or not I will attend a tournament is their clock policy. I will be posting the clock policy breakdowns of every tournament well in advance. I am only interested in the main, masters, and doubles. If you're going to any tourneys this year, bring a clock. If you don't yet have one get ahold of Carol Joy Cole and I'm sure she can hook you up, cjc@flintbg.com.

NY Metropolitan Open - Jan. 7th-10th

• Open - Clock preferred meaning only one player need request a clock for it to be implemented. (2/12)
• Masters/Jackpot - Clock preferred meaning only one player need request a clock for it to be implemented. (2/12)
• Doubles - Mandatory. (2.5/18)

New Mexico State BG Championship Jan. 29th-31st.

• Open - Only at the discretion of the TD, MFIC. (2/12)
• Masters/Jackpot - Mandatory. (2/12)
• Doubles - Mandatory. (2.5/18)

Pittsburgh Championships - Feb. 19th - 21st

• Open - Mandatory. (9pts, 20m/12s)
• Masters/Jackpot - Mandatory. (11pts, 25m/12s)
• Doubles - Mandatory. (7pts, 20m/18s)

Central States Invitational Mar. 5th-7th

• Open - Clocks on request.
• Masters/Jackpot - Clocks on request.
• Doubles - Clocks on request.
