Another Rule 1.5 interpretation problem

OK lemme try to elaborate somewhat.
Lets say you and I play an 11 pt match. I keep score the normal way..ie game 1, you double and I pass. I score 1 pt for you..next game, I cube and you dance too much and get G'd. The score is now 4-1 my lead.
We continue playing and a few games later I announce the score as 7-5 my lead.
You were keeping score backwards..ie counting down to zero rather than counting up to 11. You should have the score as 4-6, but your scoresheet shows a slightly different score. One of us has made a mistake, and inspite of my glancing at your scoresheet a couple of times during the match, I was confused by the fact you were scoring backwards.
My point is that had you scored in the normal manner where a player's score increases, I might have better noticed when we didn't agree and we wouldn't have a dispute now.
This is the main reason why I think players shouldn't be allowed to score "backwards". Combine that with the fact that a couple people here think that is an unfair math aid to make ME calcs easier, and to me it is clear to not allow this method of scoring.
Players who don't keep score, don't have much of a leg to stand on when it comes to scoring disputes. Players who score backwards also shouldn't have one..ie almost certain to lose any scoring dispute.
