This was a case of poor psychological self-discipline on my part. The game had just taken some rapid swings back and forth and I was having trouble evaluating each position objectively. In the given position, I considered cubing but overestimated my opponent's chances and held off. As it turned out, I danced twice and my opponent rolled big and got right back into the game. I'm pretty sure I played the rest of the game perfectly—because I spent most of it on the bar! Eventually I was gammoned.

The given position is surely a big drop, though interestingly enough, GNU 4-ply thinks it's a close take. The rollout is still running.
