Navy FG Before Halftime -- OT

If only NFL coaches and players were nearly as intelligent, disciplined, and prepared.

Third and goal from the two yard line with no time outs and 0:11 on the clock.

The quarterback ran play action and began to roll out to the flat, but slipped and fell as he cut to roll out. He jumped up and flipped the ball to the line judge to facilitate spotting of the ball. The field goal team was immediately running onto the field as the offense ran off. They got lined up, snapped the ball with 0:02 on the clock, and made the field goal.

It was a thing of beauty. The coach said later that they practiced the play every Thursday of the season just for this type of occurrence.
