... 62R, 62$, 63R, and even 43S.

I very seldom see opening 62R anymore (someone might play it against me every couple of years).

OTOH, opening 63R is played against me a lot (and it may even be right for those players in that matchup). Gnu is -.015, but Snowie is -.010. Also, 63R is tied (on the plus side) at GS.

I still see a fair amount of 43S. In its rollout, Gnu doesn't think much of it (-.016), but it comes out better with Snowie (-.005) and XG (-.011 3-ply, -.010 4-ply). Moreover, 43S is tied at both DMP and GS.

I think 63R and 43S are both keepers, and I really hope you include interesting replies to those openers on your XG rollout list.

As you know, opening 62$ is the best play or tied at GG, so it is entirely legitimate at GS for the replier. But I assume that you'll be covering money positions first, and that means for the time being 62$ is out. I don't think I've seen it played for at least ten years.

I have an interest in reponses to 32Z and 43U, because they're on my list of 28 strong opening replies (for money). Also, 43U is tied at DMP (-.002) and GS (-.006); I play it at DMP against most opponents, and at GS against some opponents, for the unfamiliarity value.

For money, I think 32Z (and possibly even 43U) is a little better than 41$, though unlike the other two 41$ is still sometimes played, or so I hear (virtually never against me). I think there's a chance we'll see 32Z and/or 43U appear some on the scene over the next few years, though ousting them from your list will make it a bit less likely they will be tried (including against you).

Others seem to have the rest of the interesting replies well covered, so I'll lobby for the ones listed below. In all cases, one or both of the rollout results for Snowie or Gnu show (at least) the top two plays tied (within .01) and in many cases Snowie and Gnu significantly disagree on the margin.

In a few cases, multiple candidate plays are given. If no plays are listed, my request is to roll out the top two.

63R-62 - $SUZ

Thanks for the idea of a poll!
