FWIW I decided R+T, R+T, R+T but only the last one was I sure about.

To see why pip count methods don't work in these kinds of situations, consider a long race (or early bearoff) where there is little wastage. In those cases all seven pip rolls {61, 52, 43} are roughly equal, maybe a couple % GWC difference at most.

Now look at those three rolls for Blue after s/he takes the initial redouble here.
