Agree. And also agree that time pressure was involved with my bad play. But here is the thing that I think most don't think about correctly. Let's say that I had a tough play at 9 away 9 away and took time to get it correct and then later on needed to rush a decision at DMP. Many look at the match win % change and then the better 9 away 9 away play is not worth so much. But if the match eventually goes to DMP, that play could have been very critical, it was just not known at the time.

Here is another way to look at it. Suppose you are playing a match to 11 without the cube and without bonus wins. A bearoff error is made in the very first game turning a sure win into a sure loss and the same error is made at 1 away 1 away score. At the time it was made the first game error cost very little in MWC. But the two errors were equally responsible for you not winning the match.
