personally, I think it non-sensical that the ABT points awarded are linked to the number of places paid -- it should be strictly a function of the number of entrants (should rebuys apply? -- as some tourneys allow and some don't)

I think the winner of the main should get some fixed factor times the number of entrants (same for all ABT tourneys)(I think excluding rebuys); second place and first consolation gets half as many points, etc; carry it out as far as the number of places paid; so, if a tourney pays more places, it, effectively, awards more ABT points, but the extra points are in small quantities for the lower places; and the major points for winning, second, etc. are consistent across the ABT and strictly a function of number of entrants
