Nack: Although I'll never be able to dispute anything you say about backgammon, you should check your map again when it comes to the geography of the San Francisco Peninsula. South San Francisco is NOT adjacent to San Francisco, anywhere, whether you go south from San Francisco on the east side (Bay), on the west side (Ocean), or right down the middle. Before you get to South San Francsico you have to go through Daly City, or Brisbane, or Colma, or you have to go over San Bruno Mountain. (I'm not a San Francisco native, but I moved to San Francisco in the 1960s and have lived in the Bay Area since then.)
