I would play 18/12 8/6 here. Hanging around on the anchor serves no purpose. Your opponent's points will not be hard to clear at all and you should race now while you can escape before the opponent remakes the board. This would never come up OtB (though something similar might) and as you note the error isn't big. I'm not really concerned with what the bots do here since I feel like I know the best play and couldn't give a shit less what the bot thinks.
