Money-play endgame decision

I am certain that leaving the blot on the 6 point will win more games. Having white roll a 6 here is really bad regardless, and two checkers back will certainly contain white's straggler more effectively than one. So if it were DMP and I knew for certain that white were going to roll a 6, I'd rather be hit than not hit. How many gammons will be lost in the process? That's a tough question. Then again, how many more wins will be gained by not lifting is a tough question. When I can't decide and gammon risk is low either way, I usually lean towards the play that wins more as it generally produces a more valuable cube.
