A clever observation!

I don't think anyone could have been certain a priori (thirty years ago, say) that rollouts would turn out to be more accurate than evaluations. After all, the play during the rollout is based on evaluations, so how can a rollout be any more accurate than an evaluation? Nevertheless, it seems to be the case.
